Mike Cook, PhD.,

  Mike joined CSS/datatelligence™ in January of 2010; prior to this, Mike held the position of Head of Consumer Understanding for Givaudan Flavors, North America. In his position at Givaudan, he was responsible for Consumer Insights in the US and global strategic projects, and founded the global consumer insight function for Givaudan Flavors. His concentration through the years has been discovering consumer insights related to new product development in CPG, as well as the tranlation of those efforts for business impact within the challenges of large scale, multi-contry projects. Mike also brings his experiecne gathered from positions in consumer insight at the Quaker Oats Compnay and Coors Brewing Company, and as a professor at several major universities.

Mike earned his PhD in Social/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville

Carolyn Corbett

Vice President Sensory Services
   
  Carolyn has 15 years sensory and consumer research experience. Her background includes positions at Kellogg’s USA, the Dial Corporation and Ocean Spray Cranberries. Carolyn joined CSS in 2003. She currently services a broad range of clients representing consumer packaged goods, specializing in fragrance research. She is also an active member of IFT as the fundraising chair and of ASTM E-18 as the chair of the sensory proficiency document.
 
   

Anastasia Mentavlos, PhD.,

Vice President of Sensory Science
   
  Anastasia has 18 years of consumer and sensory research experience. Her background includes positions at the University of Illinois and Domino’s Pizza. She currently supports all food product testing specializing in normative data analysis and international research.
 
   
   

Brian Zaff, PhD.,

Chief Research Officer
   
  Brian has over 20 years of experience as a Research Psychologist. As Chief Research Officer, Brian oversees research design and method development projects for the company. His work experiecne includes positions at M&M/Mars, Nabisco, and LogiconTechnical Services, Inc. During his tenure at M&M/Mars, he managed the sensory, consumer and product research programs, and directed a number of consumer research method development projects. At Nabisco, Brian served in the role of Consumer Psychologist where he directed both research and method development programs. At Logicon Technical Services, Inc., Brian led a team of psychologists, engineers and software designers in the development, evaluation and application of consumer/user centered design methods.
